RIETVELD-SCHRODER HOUSE….1924
This house represents the perfect application of the design principles of De Stijl. As much as I love this I also wonder how one could live in it without submitting totally to its design ethic. That is the problem with Modernism in general, its gorgeous authoritarianism.
